Since its founding in 1965, KRTA has dedicated itself for over six decades to protecting the rights and interests of radiological technologists in Korea, enhancing our professional competencies, and advancing medical imaging technologies. The Association has continuously provided unwavering support through various educational initiatives and policy efforts, ensuring that radiological technologists—who play a vital role in safeguarding the health and safety of the public—can take pride in their work and carry out their duties with confidence.

Among the Association’s major initiatives, the Congress of Korean Radiological Technologists has firmly established itself as a flagship academic event. It serves as a pivotal platform for deepening professional expertise, exchanging cutting-edge knowledge, and sharing the latest advancements in medical imaging technology. Through active engagement and collaboration with experts from both domestic and international communities, this congress significantly contributes to enhancing the practical competencies needed in the clinical field.

In the face of rapidly evolving medical landscapes and technological innovation, we are ever more aware of the growing importance of radiological technologists. In response, the Association will continue to develop and expand professional education programs and research activities, thereby reinforcing the core expertise of radiological technologists and paving the way for new areas of practice in the future.

Furthermore, in alignment with the Radiological Technologists’ Code of Ethics—which emphasizes the duty to “strive for lifelong education to pursue profound academic inquiry and progressive technical advancement”—KRTA will commit all its efforts to supporting the continued growth and development of every member.
